Lake Magic is a naturally occurring salt and gypsum lake. The water is clean and clear, with beach sand around the perimeter. It is very safe, though children must be supervised.The water level varies throughout the year, dependent on the rainfall.
Guests are also welcome to make use of the swimming pool at the Wave Rock Caravan Park, and the facilities at the Wave Rock Motel, relaxation lounge, bar and restaurants.

Wave Rock Caravan Park
Quiet and restful sites are available at the base of Wave Rock in a natural bush setting, located 4km from the town centre of Hyden.
Facilities include both powered and non-powered caravan and camping sites, 10 ensuite sites, with top quality amenities including disabled facilities, campers kitchen, free electric barbeque with under cover eating area, swimming pool and laundry facilities available.
6 x 1 bedroom fully self-contained cabins are also available to sleep a maximum of 4 people per cabin.
An on site kiosk is available 7 days a week with a selection of drinks, ice-creams, food, postal service, ice, gas and credit card facilities plus a large selection of Wave Rock Souvenirs and is home of The Yesteryear Museum.
Directly across from the Caravan Park is the Wildflower Shoppe and Cafe with lunch and coffee available 7 days a week, home of The Lace Place, Toy Soldier Museum and Wildlife Park.
